Naturally Dyed Velvet Scrunchie

These naturally dyed scrunchies are handmade in Detroit, Michigan by Rosemarine Textile founder Meg Navoy who studied fashion and sustainability at FIT in NYC. She uses plant dyes that are made from foraged plants, food waste from local restaurants such as avocados and onion skins, and floral waste in collaboration with local florists. Made out of silk velvet. Each scrunchie can wrap around a ponytail twice and also looks very cute on the wrist as an accessory. Measures approx 5" in diameter and features a Rosemarine Textiles monogram woven label. Each piece has natural variations and light mottling effects that add texture and an organic feel.
